There's nothing for you to study or prepare, just be present to the experience. The sessions will be short and sweet. As one of my teachers told me, “Just show up and shut up.” I’ll guide you through the meditations and suggest ways to set you up for success. I’ll stay on after our session if you want to talk, share, question or query.
Week #1: All You Need is Breath. This is where you’ll focus on, you guessed it, your breath. Your breath is like an anchor to the present and you get to pay attention to it. The secret of life is right under your nose!
Week #2: All You Need is Your Body. This is where you’ll focus on, you guessed it again, your body. You’ll be scanning, sensing and noticing from head to toe. It’s like going on a magical mystery tour of yourself.
Week #3: All You Need is Sound. You’ll be picking up good vibrations and frequencies and noticing all the sounds that surround you. We’ll explore and surf on sounds surrounding you and some relaxing music to change your brainwaves.
Week #4: All You Need is Light. This is a candle gazing meditation. Fire is hypnotic and there’s been a deep-seated comfort and fascination with it. We’ll have a safety lesson prior to this meditation and how to use a LED candle which works just as well. Feel free to bask in the glow.
Week #5: You Have All You Need. This is when we review on the past few weeks. Have any of the techniques made you more curious? More calm? Less anxious? Is your mind quieter? All answers are correct. We’ll explore one final surprise meditation.
