I’m MJ, and I teach yoga and meditation for real people—especially those who think they’re too old, too stiff, or too busy to start.

The truth? You don’t need to touch your toes or sit cross-legged for hours to feel the benefits. You just need a little curiosity and a willingness to show up.

Here’s What We’ll Explore Together in Yoga for True Beginners:

Session 1: 5 Poses That Move the Spine
You’ll explore simple poses that help your spine bend, twist, and stretch in all the ways it’s meant to.

🌿 Session 2: 5 Standing Poses to Strengthen Feet and Legs
We’ll plant your feet, find your balance, and build strength from the ground up and rediscover the power and stability already waiting in your legs.

💪 Session 3: 5 Poses That Build Strength and Flexibility
We’ll sneak in a little muscle work and gentle stretching—the kind that helps you move more easily in everyday life.

🧘‍♀️ Session 4: 5 Poses for Balance and Stability
We’ll work on balance in a way that’s kind, safe, and (believe it or not) fun. Each pose helps train your body and brain to move with a little more confidence and a lot less fear of tipping over.

😌 Session 5: 4 Poses of Relaxation
This is where you exhale. Learn a few simple ways to let your body completely relax and your mind take a mini-vacation. It’s the perfect way to wrap up your five-week journey—rested, refreshed, and feeling more at home in your body.

MEDITATION MADE EAST FOR BEGINNERS & SKEPTICS

Think you can’t meditate because your mind won’t stop?

Good—because it’s not supposed to! In this five-session online series, you’ll explore five different styles of meditation, each 10 minutes or less, to find one that actually feels doable.

Even a few minutes a day can help keep your brain active and healthy as you lean into your later years—science says so.

Here’s What We’ll Explore Together in Meditation Made Easy for Beginners & Skeptics

🌬️Session 1: All You Need is Breath
Your breath is always there for you—no apps required. We’ll use it as your anchor to the present and your first taste of real “mind time.”

🧘‍♀️Session 2: All You Need is Your Body
You live in it every day—why not check in once in a while? We’ll scan, sense, and notice what’s happening from head to toe (no judgment, just curiosity).

🎵Session 3: All You Need is Sound
From birdsong to the hum of your fridge, sound is everywhere—and it’s a perfect way to train your focus. We’ll be surfing those sound waves, no ear plugs needed.

🕯️Session 4: All You Need is Light
Candlelight + calm = magic. You’ll learn how a simple flicker of light can quiet the chaos without needing to “shut your brain off.”

💛Session 5: You Have All You Need
Now it’s your turn to mix and match what works best for you. You’ll see that meditation isn’t about stopping your thoughts—it’s about giving your mind some quality time to breathe, wander, and reset.

A yoga sticky mat

Two yoga blocks

A yoga strap or long scarf or tie

A thick blanket or pillow
